What's less known about Italy is the diversity and turbulence of the geology behind all of this abundance: the continuously erupting volcanoes, the violent earthquakes, the clash of mighty tectonic p...。二次大战结束后，从军中退伍的袍泽鲍伯（平克劳斯贝）和菲尔（丹尼凯）转而投身舞台，成为歌舞表演的搭档，后来经由菲尔从中穿线，介绍同样从事歌舞表演的美丽姊妹花贝蒂（乔治克龙尼的亲姑姑--萝丝玛莉克龙尼）和茱蒂与鲍伯认识，后来两姊妹应邀在圣诞节时到佛蒙州表演，两位护花使者理所当然地也跟著前往，没想到邀请两姊妹的旅馆老板正好是鲍伯和菲尔昔日的指挥官，在这个亲朋好友团聚的圣诞时节，这群能歌善舞的男男女女又会制造出怎样的浪漫情怀呢？本片的同名主题曲是圣诞节不可或缺的应景歌曲，由歌舞片鼎盛时期的最佳男主角平克劳斯贝浑厚动人的歌声娓娓唱出，也成为本片最具吸引力的特点。。
