电影讲述了报社记者、业余网络悬疑故事作家追查十年前发生在“谜镇”的几件知名鬼事的真相，根据匿名电话来到了所有传闻最早开始的地方，而十年过去后，这个地方因为闹鬼已经成了无人居住的鬼楼。随着真相慢慢揭开，他自己似乎也陷入了危险之中……。陈永胜(张建声 饰）、叶礼信（陈奂仁 饰）和马伟雄（沈震轩 饰）三人为都市中的营营役役的男人标本。一个沉醉于雾水情缘不能自拔，一个情伤失意后郁郁不得志，一个则为小男人女友面前永远没有发言权。原本三条平行线各不相干，一个追悼会把三人连到一起，原来三人同是为情自杀的黄真真的前男友。三人在追悼会上惺惺相惜，事后相约去喝酒解心头之闷，酒过三巡，三人娓娓道来感情上的若有所失。。The expanded third season picks up six months after the events of season two and follows Lt.
