Meanwhile, an important person in little Dolly's life begins to see that her amazing voice and musical gift might just be made for something bigger than rural Te...。32岁的夏洛特(Claes Bang饰)刚与相处多年的男友分手，搬到了一个小城安家落户，开了一家美容沙龙。由于心底深处难以名状的落寞，夏洛特一直不与人交流，常常将不怀好意的年轻男子带回家，极尽捉弄之能事。一天，夏洛特结识了住在楼下的女人——腼腆的维罗妮卡(Joan Bentsen)。然后，维罗尼卡却有着一个不为人知的秘密。。爾仔（吳肇軒飾演）女友茹可以（盧惠敏飾演）在法國工作假期計劃期間突然失蹤，爾仔守住可以留下的書店希望等對方歸來。及後書店生意每況愈下，爾仔為維持書店，於是接受好友拖羅（繆浩昌飾演）的意見，在書店開設「身後事務所」以增加收入，專責代處理逝者遺物，卻因此遇上亡魂，為死者解開心結。。
