本作は出張帰りに新幹線の車内でご当地グルメを堪能するのが密かな楽しみというサラリーマン・高宮進の物語。出張先で見つけた酒と肴、駅弁、さらにはスイーツまでを座席テーブルに広げる高宮の極上のひとときが描かれる。シーズン1の東北新幹線から舞台を移し、シーズン2では金沢～敦賀間の延伸が注目を集めている北陸新幹線と上越新幹線沿線の街を訪れる。。When his housemate dies under mysterious circumstances, Nic Cross inherits a mysterious pyramid-shaped contraption left at the scene, unwittingly summoning a cult of wolf-people who dwell in the dark underbelly of London.
