Doamaiger D是一部昭和风的机器人动画，浓浓的怀旧风格，将于2015年1月播出。故事背景设定在2015年的京都。叙述甘匠堂第十五代店主「京极大次郎」在接受电视媒体的采访时，意外发现了沉睡在店铺地底下、上一代所留下的巨大点心制作机器人「Doamaiger D」。而就在这一刻，京都街上也出现了凶暴的机械怪兽，身为点心师父的大次郎将会驾驶著Doamaiger D，展开一场场用点心捍卫京都的战斗……。This is a mystical tale about a young girl named Mindy and her enchanted journey to find her lost pony. But this is not just any pony| this pony is said to have magical powers that will lead to the hidden treasures of Catclaws Mountain.
